Chad has a passion for music. Starting his musical journey at an early age, he has over 17 years of experience studying, performing and recording music.

About Chad…

Graduating the University of Newcastle in 2018, Chad has a Bachelor of Music (Distinction), specializing in guitar performance and creative production.

Teaching music is one of Chad’s many loves, with more than 9 years experience mentoring people of all ages and abilities. Chad aims to tailor his lessons to the individual and their specific goals. From learning songs to exam preparation, performance technique, music theory, music notation, improvisation, recording and much more.

Chad has a vast knowledge of many styles of music. Whether that be rock, pop, blues, jazz, country or heavier genres. He is an experienced performer regularly playing around Newcastle and the Hunter region with various groups, as well as having the opportunity to tour Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney with the band Spuz in 2020.

Chad is also the guitarist and producer for country band Billy & The Bandits. He helps with songwriting and is in charge of recording, mixing and mastering as well as promotional videos and distribution.
